Sustainability and CSR
Brass is one of the most recyclable engineering metals. Running a turning shop responsibly starts with keeping every chip and offcut in the material loop.
The metal loop
Brass, stainless steel, mild steel, copper and aluminium chips are kept separate by alloy at every machine, de-oiled and returned for remelting. Mixed scrap is avoided so every metal keeps its value.

What we do
Four areas we work on at the plant and with the community around it.
- 01
Chip and scrap recovery
Brass, stainless steel, mild steel, copper and aluminium chips are kept separate by alloy at every machine, de-oiled and returned for remelting. Mixed scrap is avoided so every metal keeps its value.
- 02
Coolant and oil management
Central filtration extends coolant life. Spent oils and sludge are handed to authorised recyclers.
- 03
Energy efficiency
Machine loading is planned to reduce idle running. Rooftop solar and efficient compressors are being evaluated.
- 04
Community
Skills training for machine operators from the local community, run with nearby technical institutes.
